Bill Farrand, MA, LCPC
As an integrative psychotherapist, I use a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to holistic wellness. My goal is to provide support and practical feedback in order to help clients effectively address their issues. With warmth, compassion and understanding, I work with each person to help them to build on their strengths and attain their life goals.
My areas of expertise include working with male survivors of childhood sexual abuse, people living with HIV/AIDS, and trauma. Prior to starting my private clinical practice, I served as the Director of Community Behavioral Health at Center on Halsted, Sexual Orientation and Gender Institute in Chicago.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I worked extensively in corporate and non-profit management and have presented at national conferences and to professional and general audiences speaking on the topics of grief and loss, LGBTQ cultural competence, non-profit administration and HIV/AIDS services.
