Therapy for Depression & Anxiety
Depression and anxiety are something most people experience some of the time. But for some people, it’s how they feel most of the time. Sometimes it’s to the extent that you may not even know that you’re feeling anxious or depressed until it comes to a point where you’re no longer able to effectively cope with it. You may have been feeling anxious or depressed so much of the time that you may not realize that you don’t have to feel that way.
You may have found ways to cope with your symptoms that are no longer working. Or perhaps something new has come up that is causing you distress and you’re not sure how to deal with it.
There is a way forward by learning ways to alleviate and improve your symptoms of anxiety and/or depression and then exploring any long standing patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms that can be changed in order for you to experience a greater degree of wellness.
I believe in a holistic approach in looking at your lifestyle around exercise, nutrition, sleep, hydration, and social support. If you’re struggling, it’s important to look at your habits in all of these areas because they do contribute greatly to how you feel day to day. I look at the whole person and not just how you may be feeling at the moment.
