Psychotherapy for Individuals
I treat a range of issues that may come up throughout the life span, which may include: anxiety and depression, relationship issues, LGBTQ and sexuality issues, and many others.
I provide tailored therapy services which may include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy, psychodynamic techniques.
If you’re going through a crisis or a particularly difficult or challenging time in your life, I will first teach you cognitive behavioral therapy tools and interventions to help you manage your feelings so you are able to function in your life. Once you start feeling better and begin to feel a sense of relief in your day to day life, then we can begin psychodynamic therapy to dig deeper into your past and find the source of the challenges you are experiencing in your life today.
I believe in a holistic approach in looking at your lifestyle around exercise, nutrition, sleep, hydration, and social support. If you’re struggling, it’s important to look at your habits in all of these areas because they do contribute greatly to how you feel day to day. I look at the whole person and not just how you may be feeling at the moment.
Whatever challenge you may be facing, I will meet you where you’re at and work with you to resolve your issues so you can move forward and live a happy and fulfilling life.
